Oman e-Invoicing (Fawtara) Integration, Built Into Your ERP
We build custom ERP systems that are fully Fawtara-ready, so your business stays VAT-compliant without disrupting how you work.
What Is Oman e-Invoicing (Fawtara)?
Fawtara is the Oman Tax Authority's national e-Invoicing program. It requires VAT-registered businesses to issue invoices in structured digital formats and exchange them through accredited Service Providers, using the Peppol network.
The rollout is already underway, starting with large taxpayers in 2026 and expanding to all VAT-registered businesses by 2027. Once your business is notified, there is no permanent exemption. Preparing early means your invoicing, accounting, and approval workflows are tested and compliant before the deadline — not rebuilt under pressure after it.
Phased Deadline Schedule
OTA notifications will detail your mandatory transition dates.
Why Choose CodeStack?
Most businesses in Oman don't run identical operations, so they shouldn't run identical software. CodeStack builds custom ERP systems shaped around how your business actually invoices, approves, and collects — not a generic template you have to work around.
Every ERP we build is Fawtara-ready: it produces valid, structured invoices and connects directly to any OTA-accredited e-Invoicing Service Provider through secure API integration. We are not an Accredited Service Provider ourselves — we build the ERP layer that connects to one, so you're never locked into a single provider.
If you already run an ERP or accounting system, we can often integrate Fawtara compliance directly into it, instead of replacing what your team already knows.

Why Custom ERP Instead of Off-the-Shelf?
Off-the-shelf software forces your business to adapt to its rules. A custom ERP adapts to your business instead — your invoice numbering, your approval chain, your tax categories, your reporting.
For Fawtara compliance, that difference matters. A rigid, generic system can leave gaps that surface only when an invoice is rejected. A custom-built ERP is designed around your actual data and workflows from the start, so compliance fits naturally instead of being bolted on.
| Parameters | Custom ERP (CodeStack)Recommended | Off-the-shelf Software |
|---|---|---|
| Process Adaptation | ERP molds around your current invoicing and approval patterns perfectly. | Forced to adapt workflows to match the rigid templates of the software vendor. |
| License Fee Overhead | Zero licensing costs. You own 100% of the custom IP built for you. | Substantial recurring per-user and per-module cost escalations. |
| Integration Gaps | Built directly to bridge with selected OTA accredited ASPs without middleware. | Requires third-party connectors or plugins that risk failures during regulatory shifts. |
| Tax & Compliance | Tax engine handles zero-rate, exempt, and localized reverse charges natively. | Requires manual overrides or complex custom rules scripting. |
